USARPAC Visit Reinforces US Philippines Alliance

Gen. Ronald P. Clark, the commanding general of U.S. Army Pacific, was welcomed by Brig. Gen. Eddie M. Pilapil, the deputy commander of the Installation Management Command, Philippine Army (IMCOM PA), and Brig. Gen. Mario D. Jacinto, the assistant division commander of the 7th Infantry Division, during an honors ceremony on February 13, 2026.

Office call hosted by Maj. Gen. Joseph Norwin D. Pasamonte, the commander of the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division. The 7th ID and IMCOM PA work alongside the 25th Infantry Division (25thID) to support the Army Rotational Forces in the Philippines (ARF-P).

Clark also had an office call hosted by Maj. Gen. Joseph Norwin D. Pasamonte, the commander of the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division. The 7th ID and IMCOM PA work alongside the 25th Infantry Division (25thID) to support the Army Rotational Forces in the Philippines (ARF-P).
The 25ID ongoing rotational presence facilitates improvements in Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement (EDCA) projects and command and control.
The Republic of the Philippines is the United States' oldest mutual defense treaty ally in the Indo-Pacific, and our close historical ties extend more than a century.
