The MCG featured briefings on the U.S.-India defense framework, a 10-year agreement that acts as a key component of the U.S.-India Major Defense Partnership. The ten-year framework was most recently renewed by U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Minister of Defence of India Rajnath Singh, during the ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting-Plus in Kuala Lumpur, Oct. 31.
Participants covered key topics such as logistics cooperation, enhancing military interoperability, expanding joint technology development and co-production, improving intelligence and information sharing, and strengthening regional security coordination in the Indo-Pacific. Personnel representing U.S. Armed Forces included U.S. Africa Command, U.S. Central Command, and U.S. Space Command.
