The Summit brought together over 200 leaders and experts from across the Department of Defense, interagency partners, industry, and leading academic/research institutions.
The event focused on defining, synchronizing, integrating, and aligning defensive cyberspace activities throughout the USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) for 2025-2026, directly supporting USINDOPACOM objectives. Participants identified key priorities and collaborative opportunities to strengthen the region’s cybersecurity posture.
“This effort is about finding the balance between all the organizational priorities and efforts that are ongoing. By aligning this, sharing resources, and creating complimentary effects we can build a synchronized unity of effort in defensive cyberspace operations across the theater,” said U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Smith, USINDOPACOM J6.
The summit highlighted the critical need for innovation, acceleration, and creative approaches to establish a lasting asymmetric advantage against evolving cyber threats.
Looking ahead, USINDOPACOM J6 will continue to mature the INDOPACOM Network Defense Plan/Roadmap, finalize the INDOPACOM Network Defense Plan Charter, and begin planning for the third iteration of the Summit, scheduled for September 2025. This continued focus underscores USINDOPACOM’s commitment to maintaining a robust and resilient cyberspace environment in the Indo-Pacific region.
