During the exercise, PMTEC synchronized joint all-domain operations with allies and partners from across the region. PMTEC's multifaceted support included assisting PACAF’s Joint Deployable Electronic Warfare Range (JDEWR) team with coordination of Live-Virtual-Constructive and Space/Electronic Warfare effects. PMTEC also coordinated multi-agency deployments, providing live-fire targets and counter-unmanned aerial systems capabilities, establishing interagency connections for satellite communication, providing scenario support, and facilitating collaborative joint after-action reviews.

The high-end tactical environment successfully supported the complex integration of forces from 8 nations, encompassing over 1,700 personnel, 15 aircraft, and ships, across five major live-fire and operational events.

PMTEC’s efforts emphasized integrated operations across land, maritime, air, space, and cyber domains, reflecting the evolving nature of modern warfare. Cobra Gold 25 improved the ability of participating forces to operate seamlessly together, using shared tactics, techniques, and procedures.

“PMTEC represents an evolution in warfare, acting as the connective tissue between military services – both U.S. and multinational – as well as interagency partners and industry,” said Dr. Andre Stridiron, program manager, PMTEC. “PMTEC builds the platform, bringing in resources, and expertise to design and execute realistic training scenarios that allow agencies to work together seamlessly. By doing so, PMTEC ensures that when the stakes are real, the bonds of trust, interoperability, and shared understanding forged during these exercises will enable a unified and decisive response.”

Multilateral exercises such as Joint Exercise Cobra Gold 25 strengthen our relationships and enhance interoperability with Allies and partners through shared experiences and rigorous training and the value of these efforts extends far beyond Cobra Gold. PMTEC leverages insights gained from each exercise to refine not only future iterations of this event but also a wide range of INDOPACOM J7 exercises and real-world operations.
