U.S. and Republic of Korea Conduct Bilateral Air Exercise

07 November 2022

U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys, Republic of Korea -- U.S. Indo-Pacific Command aircraft B-1B bombers and F-16s conducted a bilateral exercise with Republic of Korea aircraft F-35As on Nov. 5 as part of the previously announced and annual Vigilant Storm training exercise to showcase deterrent capabilities while demonstrating our nations' interoperability.

This exercise was conducted to demonstrate our high levels of combat readiness and flexibility, close coordination, and credible deterrent capacity.

The U.S. remains committed to peace and prosperity through the region to secure a free and open Indo-Pacific, and our commitment to the defense of the Republic of Korea remains ironclad.
