To demonstrate the ability of the combined US-ROK forces to respond quickly to crisis events, U.S. Forces Korea and Republic of Korea militaries conducted a combined live-fire exercise.

This exercise utilized one U.S. Army missile and seven ROK missiles. The missiles were fired from the northeast of South Korea into the Sea of Japan following appropriate notifications for air and maritime safety.

The ROK-U.S. Alliance remains committed to peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula and throughout the Indo-Pacific. The U.S. commitment to the defense of the ROK remains ironclad.
