JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii --
U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning IIs from the 354th Fighter Wing, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, deployed to Kadena Air Base, Japan, Feb. 20 to conduct integrated air operations.

Their arrival signals the continuing effort to refine the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command's warfighting capability through agile combat employment, which supports the National Defense Strategy to develop a more lethal, agile and resilient force.

The Pacific Air Forces uses a flexible theater posture to enhance its ability to provide the Department of Defense options to support our allies and partners in a free and open Indo-Pacific theater.
