YOKOSUKA, Japan - Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur (DDG 54) departs Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan, following 25 years of service as a forward-deployed ship to U.S. 7th Fleet. Curtis Wilbur is scheduled to join U.S. 3rd Fleet, which leads naval forces in the Indo-Pacific and provides the realistic, relevant training necessary for an effective global Navy.
