YOKOSUKA, Japan - Capt. George A. Kessler, Jr., commodore, Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), awards SCSTC Detachment Western Pacific’s (WESTPAC) Fire Controlman (Aegis) 2nd Class Robert Thornburg with a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM) during the AEGIS Weapon System Virtual Operator Trainer (VOT) ribbon cutting ceremony onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, April 8.
