Task Force 71 focuses on Future of the Surface Force at 2023 SWO Summit

SOUTH CHINA SEA - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Milius (DDG 69), right, and USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) steam together in the South China Sea while conducting operations with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Murasame-class destroyer JS Kirisame (DD 104), March 25. Milius is forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
