USS Jackson (LCS 6) Arrives in Tahiti

SAN DIEGO - Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson (LCS 6) sits pierside in Papeete, Tahiti, Sept. 20. Jackson is deployed in support of the Oceania Maritime Security Initiative, a secretary of defense program leveraging Department of Defense assets transiting the region to increase the Coast Guard’s maritime domain awareness and law enforcement operations in Oceania.
