PHILIPPINE SEA - The ceremonial boatswain's mate and sideboys render honors for Capt. Patrick Hannifin, commanding officer of the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during a change of command ceremony aboard the ship, Sept. 10, 2018. Hannifin relieved Capt. Michael Donnelly as commanding officer of Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
