Peninsula's Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive unit prepares to "Fight Tonight"

Soldiers with the 61st Chemical Company, 23rd Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division/ROK-US Combined Division utilize special equipment to detect any chemical or biological agents during site-assessment training on Rodriguez Live Fire Complex, South Korea, Aug. 31. The battalion took to the field this week to train new Soldiers and maintain its readiness and focus on their ability to work as a team.

Navy Region Singapore Participates in Citadel Pacific 2016

Navy Region Singapore (NRS), recently participated in Exercise Citadel Pacific 2016 along with other Navy Installations throughout the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility, including Navy Region Japan, Joint Region Marianas and Navy Region Hawaii from August 29 through September 02, 2016. The weeklong events had the Installations Auxiliary Police Force (IAPF) and Singapore Armed Forces drilled in entry control point procedures, surveillance countermeasures, gate runners, active shooters, and improvised explosive device detection and response. Both organizations provide security for NRS and its assets throughout Singapore.
