U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam Ensures Safety of Port of Guam through Boardings, Exams

SANTA RITA, Guam - Members of U.S. Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam’s Sector Boarding Team prepare to disembark from the 370-foot Tuvalu-flagged motor vessel Kenyo to a 45-foot Response Boat-Medium from U.S. Coast Guard Station Apra Harbor following a security boarding 13 miles offshore of Guam on Oct. 18, 2022. This was the Kenyo’s first visit to a U.S. port meaning it must be boarded and assessed prior to arriving in port.
