60+ Combined Forces and Nepalese Army Conduct Humanitarian Assistance

Nepal  –  

More than 60 combined U.S., Australian, Bangladesh and Mongolian forces, led by Pacific Air Forces, worked with the Nepalese Army and NGOs to conduct humanitarian assistance and disaster relief capacity building operations in Chitwan.  Participants in the PACANGEL exercise provided general medical care, dentistry, optometry and women’s health care to over 5,000 local residents and helped with plumbing, electrical and structural work at local schools in Chitwan and Manahari.
