SAN DIEGO, California - Vice Adm. Roy Kitchener, (former) commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, gives remarks during a change-of-command ceremony for Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP). During the ceremony, Vice Adm. Richard Brown, CNSP, was relieved by Vice Adm. Roy Kitchener, (former) commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, as CNSP. CNSP’s mission is to man, train, and equip the surface force to provide fleet commanders with credible naval power to control the sea and project power ashore.
