U.S., JMSDF Conduct First Training Torpedo Exercise in Japanese Waters

TOKYO BAY, Japan - An MH-60R Seahawk, attached to the “Saberhawks” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 77, drops a practice torpedo during the first torpedo exercise conducted by a U.S. Navy squadron alongside the JMSDF. HSM-77 is attached to Commander, Task Force 70 and forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
