3rd Medical Battalion Participates in Navy Medicine Augmentation Program Training

CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa, Japan - Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Hussein Taaha, left, applies a splint to the leg of Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Jesseca Anderson during Navy Medicine Augmentation Program pre-deployment training at Medical Simulation Training Center South, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 25, 2018. Medical personnel with 3rd Medical Bn., 3rd MLG, worked with medical augments to prepare Role II medical facilities. Role II facilities provide a place for injured service members to be received while providing enhanced capabilities such as ultrasound, X-ray and surgery. Taaha, a native of Bronx, New York, is the leading petty officer at MSTC North. Anderson, a native of Boise, Idaho, is the en-route care program manager at MSTC North.
