ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam - The U.S. Air Force recognizes the achievements and diversity of the men and women of the Biomedical Sciences Corps during BSC Appreciation Week. Maj. John J. Kim, 36th Medical Operations Squadron staff optometrist, is here to help Airmen and their families meet their occupational, school, and readiness visual needs by offering adult and pediatric comprehensive eye exams, eye disease screening and management, PRK/LASIK pre and post-operative care, and standard issue eyewear, gas mask and ballistic eyewear inserts. "One of the greatest joys as part of an eye care team is having a parent share their child's remarkable visual and academic improvement with their new spectacle prescription," Kim says. "Those moments are what we love about optometry!"
