Pacific Partnership 2016

Justin Campbell, from Thomasville, Alabama, a research psychologist assigned to hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19), addresses participants of a Pacific Partnership 2016 operational medicine symposium, Aug 11, 2016. During the symposium, Malaysian Army service members and Pacific Partnership 2016 personnel discussed mental health issues related to combat deployment, cardiology topics relative to operational platforms within diving, and Malaysian Armed Forces experiences with rapid medical response. This is the first time Mercy and Pacific Partnership have visited Malaysia. During the mission stop partner nations are working side-by-side with local military and civilian organizations in a search and rescue exercise, civil engineering projects, community relation events and subject matter expert exchanges.
