MARFORPAC aircraft launch to support Korea Flying Training 2024
240411-G-G0020-1630 SATAWAL, Micronesia (April 11, 2024) Petty Officer 1st Class Joshua Pablo, the EMT aboard USCGC Oliver Henry (WPC 1140), awaits pick up on Satawal, Yap State, Federated States of Micronesia, on April 11, 2024, with an injured 9-year-old boy and his parents for further transport aboard a Pacific Mission Aviation flight to a higher level of medical care in Yap. Upon arriving to Satawal to deliver drought relief supplies in partnership with USAID and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the U.S. Coast Guard crew was informed of the boy's injury sustained when he fell from a tree. The ship's EMT, Petty Officer 1st Class Joshua Pablo, consulted a U.S. Coast Guard flight surgeon who recommended the medevac and provided care throughout the more than 13-hour overnight transit. IWAKUNI CITY, Japan - Residents from Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni attend Japanese driving course U.S. service members and residents of Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni attend a Status of Forces Agreement driving course at the Iwakuni Driving School in Iwakuni City, Japan, May 11, 2019. Along with driving, parking and stopping, the driving course also included various driving scenarios that teach students safe driving procedures. The course was coordinated by the station safety center to further progress the safety, etiquette and manners of SOFA drivers.
