Nimitz Carrier Strike Group Concludes Cooperative Deployment with Royal Australian Navy

INDIAN OCEAN - The Royal Australian Navy Anzac-class frigate HMAS Ballarat (FFH 155) steams alongside the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) as an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, from the "Screamin’ Indians" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 6, descends on the flight deck of the Nimitz. Nimitz, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 11, is deployed conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
