KADENA AIR BASE, Japan - Two F-15C Eagles from the 44th Fighter Squadron fly during a training exercise July 10, 2019, out of Kadena Air Base, Japan. The Eagle can be armed with several combinations of different air-to-air weapons: AIM-120 AMRAAM advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles on its lower fuselage corners, AIM-9M/X Sidewinder or AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles on two pylons under the wings, and an internal 20 millimeter (0.79 in) M61 Vulcan Gatling gun in the right wing root.
