160324-N-ZH960-060 WATERS SURROUNDING THE KOREAN PENNINSULA (March 24, 2016) The guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) and guided-missile destroyer USS Stockdale (DDG 106) steam in formation with USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) during Maritime Counter Special Operations Force (MCSOF) exercise, which is part of Foal Eagle 2016. Foal Eagle is an annual bilateral training exercise designed to enhance the readiness of U.S. and Republic of Korea forces and their ability to work together during a crisis. Providing a ready force supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific, Stockdale is operating as part of the John C Stennis Strike Group and Great Green Fleet on a regularly scheduled 7th Fleet deployment.
