USS Ashland Visits Thailand for Exercise Cobra Gold

SATTAHIP, Thailand (Feb. 5, 2016) - Cmdr. Daniel P. Duhan, left, commanding officer of amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48), greets members of the Royal Thailand Navy following the ship's arrival for exercise Cobra Gold. A Thai-U.S. co-sponsored multinational joint exercise, Cobra Gold is designed to advance regional security by exercising a robust multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
