      <description>CAMP COURTNEY, Okinawa, Japan — 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade maintains readiness as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s forward-deployed crisis-response headquarters in the Indo-Pacific through regular Alert Contingency Marine Air-Ground Task Force training, accountability drills and deployment rehearsals. During May 2026, the brigade enhanced its preparedness through a Humanitarian Assistance Response Training–Disaster course and routine ACM drills, reinforcing its ability to rapidly respond to humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and contingency operations across the region.&lt;br /&gt;
