JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska - U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Michael Smith, 3rd Air Support Operations Squadron superintendent, directs classmates on proper placement of M-8 paper during a newly-implemented chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense training course drill at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Jan. 8, 2019. One of the key changes made embraces the reintegration of hands-on, in-person instruction, and reduces computer based training, allowing Airmen to receive a more tailored learning experience.
