SEACAT enhances cooperative maritime security in South and Southeast Asia

SINGAPORE - In this file photo, sailors from the Royal Malaysian Navy corvette KD Kelantan (175) approach the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Rappanhannock (T-AO-204) to conduct a simulated boarding inspection during the annual Southeast Asia Cooperation and Training (SEACAT) exercise, Aug. 13, 2014. In its 13th year, SEACAT is the U.S. Navy's only multinational exercise in Southeast Asia focused on maritime security and information sharing with participating naval forces from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
