Military members from the Republic of Singapore Air Force, Royal Thai Air Force and U.S. Air Force mark the conclusion of Exercise Cope Tiger 16 on Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, March 18, 2016. The multilateral exercise involved over 1,200 personnel from three countries and a combined total of 87 aircraft that completed 1,003 sorts over two weeks. In addition, trilateral civic assistance programs conducted during Cope Tiger 16 helped to promote good relationships between the three countries’ forces and Thai communities near Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base. I Cope Tiger, which is in its 22nd year, is an annual multilateral aerial exercise supporting regional peace and security by improving readiness and multinational interoperability between the Republic of Singapore Air Force, Royal Thai Air Force, and U.S. Air Force.
